These 3 stretches may be performed before you even roll out of bed. It is a tough transition for your body to go from a horizontal plane (during sleep) to an immediate vertical plane when you rise from bed. Performing these basic movements will not only initiate activation throughout your body, but they will help your body prepare for compression in the vertical plane.

Try to perform 5-10 reps of each exercise on a daily bases to relieve the tension throughout your body. Remember to maintain a smooth and rhythmic breathing pattern throughout each movement.
