The idea behind PST (progressive skills training) is to improve performance through training activity specific coordination. In the case of long response plyometric swings, we utilize plyometric training principles in a pattern that is virtually identical to the golf swing motion. As a result we take advantage of stretch shorten response and at the same time train the utilization of that response in golf swing pattern. This allows us to benefit from the exercise directly in the golf swing.
