External Shoulder Rotation

The External Shoulder Rotation exercise stretches and strengthens your shoulders to help maintain extension in your arms during your swing to generate more power.

Stand in upright posture with your neck in line with your spine.
Raise your right arm straight above your head.
Reach over your shoulder and touch the top inside corner of the opposite shoulder blade, palm facing inwards.
Hold position for a moment and return to the start position.
Repeat on opposite side.
Do 8 to 10 repetitions on both sides
