I get this question when I talk to people about the shift in forces in your golf swing. Players think that if they’re trying to shift their weight from right to left, they’re going to be able to generate more speed. This is not the case. You’re not shifting your weight in your golf swing. There is no shift in body mass. You are shifting force from your right to your left, and you are pushing away from the force of the golf club as you move through impact.

Give your mind a better task and you will see better results.

Don’t just play golf. Understand it.
