This simple but effective exercise is called the Pallof using the GolfGym PowerSwing Trainer. This is an Anti-Rotation drill. Ken Pierce demonstrates Variations to the Pallof Press in this video.

In this video, Ken Pierce, President of GolfGym and creator of the GolfGym PowerSwing Trainer and PowerSWING Plus, demonstrates variations of this simple exercise that can help to strengthen your core which is essential to perform a stable golf swing while protecting your back. At the same time using these variations of the Pallof Press will also help your golf grip and forearms.

Perform this exercise while in a solid and stable stance. Step away from the point of attachment of the resistance cord in the PowerSwing Trainer. Standing facing straight ahead, press the grip out in front of you while you resist the rotation. Then use the variations to help with your grip and your forearms. Perform 3 sets of presses on the right and the left at 8 repetitions each set.

To get more resistance, just step more away from the point of attachment. For less resistance, step closer to the point of attachment. Good Luck with these easy exercises. Your CORE will thank you for it.
