Vern is a physical strength and conditioning specialist and training coach for elite athletes. He has worked for a number of years with Ernie Els, as well as with the Victorian Institute of Sport and is currently a sports consultant to players on the Australasian, European and US PGA Tours and lecturer for numerous sports councils.
Vern has a highly successful track record at Olympic and Commonwealth Games sports. He has worked as the Strength and Conditioning coach to Stuart Appleby, Adam Scott, Robert Allenby, Geoff Ogilvy and many more on the US PGA Tour.
